Evercross Bridge won the biding for the construction of Bailey Bridge in the Manan Marshyangdi Hydropower Station project in Nepal

The construction of Bailey Bridge in the Manan Marshyangdi Hydropower Station project in Nepal, which is managed by China Water Resources and Hydropower Seventh Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd.

The total design length of the Bailey Bridge is 27.432 meters per span;

Design clear width: 4.2-meter single lane;

Design load: Single vehicle load of 50 tons, single axle load of 13 tons or more;

The 200 type double row single-layer reinforced Bailey bridge has unique characteristics among many bridge types and has significant advantages in multiple aspects.

Its structural stability is extremely high. Adopting a double row single-layer reinforced design greatly enhances the overall load-bearing capacity and can withstand heavy vehicle loads and pedestrian traffic pressure. In complex terrain and harsh environments, the integrity of the structure can still be maintained, effectively ensuring the safe use of the bridge.

Has strong adaptability and universality. It can be flexibly built in rugged mountainous terrain, water bodies with intersecting rivers, or remote areas with inconvenient transportation. Its standardized component design facilitates transportation and rapid assembly, and can be combined and built according to different spans and terrain requirements, greatly improving construction efficiency and reducing construction cycles. It has performed excellently in emergency rescue, temporary traffic support, and other projects.

Excellent performance in terms of material and durability. Made of high-strength steel, it has good corrosion resistance and can resist the influence of natural factors such as wind and rain erosion, river erosion, etc., extending the service life of the bridge, reducing maintenance costs and frequency in the later stage, and providing reliable support for long-term stable traffic operation.

Moreover, the Bailey Bridge has good economic viability. Compared to some permanent bridge construction, its initial investment cost is lower, materials can be reused, and in some temporary or transitional transportation projects, it can effectively control the budget while meeting usage needs, achieve efficient resource utilization, and demonstrate a higher cost-effectiveness ratio. In short, the 200 type double row single-layer reinforced Bailey bridge plays an irreplaceable and important role in various engineering construction and traffic security scenarios with its unique advantages.
