Malaysia local time on November 30, the construction of U012 road bailey bridge in Malaysia Baleh Hydroelectric Kapit Division Village Road project which was designed, manufactured and guided by EVERCROSS BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY (SHANGHAI) CO.,LTD., and installed by China Power Construction Bureau 7 has been completed ahead of schedule, achieving an important milestone in the construction of the project.
A total of 7 Bailey Bridges have been built along the entire line of the Kapit Division Village road project, of which 4 are marked sections of the U012 road, with a total length of 276.6 meters. According to the requirements of the contract, all of them were designed and manufactured in accordance with European and American standards, passed layers of audit and approval during the design period, and were inspected and tested by third-party experimental institutions recognized by the Malaysian government during the manufacturing period. The construction of bailey bridges was completed 30 days ahead of the original plan and successfully realized the traffic. After the bailey bridge was opened to traffic, it solved the problem of local residents’ travel, greatly shortened the travel distance of local residents, improved the operation efficiency of rural traffic, promoted the development of local rural industries, and increased farmers’ income and employment opportunities. And accumulated successful experience and engineering achievements for EVERCROSS BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY (SHANGHAI) CO.,LTD. to implement bridge traffic engineering projects in Malaysia.
2024 is a key year for the construction of the Kapit Division Village road. During the construction of the bridge, all the staff of the project department maintained the high morale of “keeping the mountain peak”, coordinated, carefully organized, optimized the allocation of resources, and took effective measures to overcome various unfavorable factors such as local high temperature and rainy weather, ensure the construction progress under extremely difficult conditions, and finally realized the important milestone node in advance. The efficiency, quality and effectiveness of the construction have been highly recognized by the local government and the owner, laying a solid foundation for further achieving the goal of the completion of the line by August 2025.
