Completed Project: 107m Compact-200 Bailey Bridge in Congo-Brazzaville

Evercross Bridge has successfully completed and delivered a high-load Compact-200 Bailey Bridge project in Routete Town, Bouenza Department, Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville). As a key industrial infrastructure project for local mining and cement production, this customized modular steel bridge effectively solves regional heavy logistics bottlenecks and empowers local industrial development with reliable prefabricated bridge technology.

The project features standardized and high-performance structural specifications tailored for heavy industrial traffic. The total bridge length reaches 107 meters with a main span of 45 meters, perfectly adapting to local terrain and crossing demands. Designed for a heavy trailer load of 80 tons, the bridge fully meets the long-term, continuous passage of fully loaded mining trucks and cement transport vehicles, which is critical for local high-intensity industrial operation scenarios. Adopting Evercross’s mature Compact-200 prefabricated bridge system, the structure boasts high rigidity, strong load-bearing capacity and excellent environmental adaptability, ideal for harsh African tropical working conditions.

Evercross provided a full one-stop solution for the entire project cycle, covering all links from design to on-site delivery and technical support. Our professional services include standardized industrial bridge design compliant with international AASHTO and Eurocode standards, full manufacturing and supply of all bridge main components, accessories and dedicated erection tools. All steel parts are produced in our ISO-certified factory via precision CNC cutting and automatic welding, ensuring stable quality and structural durability. Beyond factory production, we completed full-set cargo packaging and ocean shipment to the Congolese site, and arranged professional engineers to provide whole-process on-site technical supervision and installation guidance, guaranteeing standardized construction and safe project delivery.

Located in Bouenza Department with rich mineral resources and booming cement manufacturing, the local area once faced severe traffic isolation due to terrain barriers. The lack of heavy-load crossing facilities forced industrial transport vehicles to take long detours, greatly increasing production and logistics costs and restricting the development of mining and cement industries. Put into official operation after completion, the Compact-200 Bailey Bridge completely breaks this development bottleneck. It undertakes the core transportation task for local cement plant construction, daily production and mineral resource exploitation, smoothing the entire industrial logistics chain.

In Congo-Brazzaville, standardized prefabricated steel bridges represented by the Compact-200 model play dual roles as industrial catalysts and lifeline engineering. Different from traditional concrete bridges with long construction cycles and high site requirements, our modular Bailey bridge features rapid assembly, flexible deployment and low later maintenance costs. Its standardized prefabricated parts achieve high interchangeability, enabling fast installation and stable operation in remote industrial areas with limited construction conditions. In terms of industrial value, the bridge unlocks local abundant mineral resources, realizes efficient circulation of industrial materials and finished products, and injects continuous impetus into regional economic and industrial growth.

This successful Congo project fully demonstrates Evercross Bridge’s strong comprehensive strength in customizing heavy-duty modular steel bridge solutions for global industrial infrastructure. With 30 years of manufacturing experience, 100,000-ton annual production capacity and rich overseas project experience, we consistently deliver cost-effective, durable and standard-compliant bridge products and one-stop services for mining, industrial construction and emergency infrastructure projects across Africa and worldwide.
