EVERCROSS BRIDGE Dispatches Six HD200 Modular Steel Bridges for Tanzania Infrastructure Upgrading

Overview of New Tanzania Bridge Shipment

In response to the booming infrastructure construction demand in East Africa, EVERCROSS BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD. has recently completed the fabrication, packaging and full container loading of six sets of HD200 modular steel Bailey bridges, which are officially dispatched to Tanzania for local transportation connectivity and engineering support projects. Facing an extremely tight delivery schedule, the company launched a full-scale rush production plan with factory overtime arrangements, ensuring 100% on-time delivery to meet the client’s urgent on-site construction demands. This shipment once again demonstrates EVERCROSS BRIDGE’s reliable manufacturing capacity, efficient delivery capability and profound market accumulation in Tanzania.

Detailed Project and Technical Specifications

This Tanzania project covers six customized HD200 series modular steel bridges with diverse spans and structural configurations, fully adapting to complex local river crossing and temporary engineering scenarios. The detailed configuration includes one 30.48-meter HD200 DSR bridge, one 61-meter HD200 DSR bridge, two sets of 42.672-meter HD200 TSR bridges and two sets of 39.624-meter HD200 TSR bridges. Notably, the 61-meter long-span DSR bridge is equipped with complete inter-span connection and temporary locking structures for bridge pushing construction, ensuring structural stability and construction safety during installation.

All bridge components adopt high-standard European-grade structural steel with classified material matching to guarantee overall structural strength, rigidity and durability. The top and bottom chord members of the truss adopt S450J0 steel; vertical and diagonal web members are made of S355JR and S355J0H steel with excellent toughness and seismic performance. The integral one-piece H400 transverse beams are manufactured from S460J0 steel, while the anti-slip checkered deck plates apply S355JR steel. The hierarchical material selection strictly complies with international steel bridge design codes, fully meeting Tanzania’s local infrastructure load standards, climatic adaptability and long-term service requirements.

Efficient Rush Delivery for Urgent Project Demand

Restricted by the client’s tight construction timeline, the whole production and packaging cycle of this batch of bridges was highly compressed. To avoid delaying the on-site infrastructure progress, EVERCROSS BRIDGE activated an emergency production mechanism. The production, welding, anti-corrosion treatment, quality inspection and packaging teams implemented overtime working schedules, strictly controlled every production process, and completed full quality testing and standardized container packaging efficiently. While ensuring zero compromise on product quality and technical precision, the company successfully fulfilled the urgent delivery task, delivering a reliable solution for the rapid advancement of the Tanzania project.
